Hidden vaults. Truly hidden.

Every pattern opens its own vault. There is no list of vaults anywhere, so nobody can tell how many you have, or that more exist at all.

  • As many vaults as you like, free
  • No list or count of vaults, anywhere
  • A pattern that opens nothing looks like a new vault
  • Vaults are stored among random cover files

How it works

Draw a pattern and the app opens the vault that pattern belongs to. Draw a different pattern and you get a different vault, with its own photos, files and passwords. The app never shows a list, a picker or a number of vaults.

Why nobody can count them

Vaults are kept among random cover files that look exactly like real ones, and their sizes are padded, so the files on the phone don't give away how many vaults there are. A pattern that opens nothing simply offers to make a new vault, exactly as it would on a phone with no vaults at all.

Where Vault This is different

Some vault apps limit how many vaults the free version can have. Counting vaults like that means the app has to know how many exist, which is exactly what hidden vaults should hide. Vault This never counts vaults: the free plan gives you as many as you like, with up to 50 items in each.

Questions

Can someone with my phone find my other vaults?

Not from the app: it shows only the vault you opened. And the files on the phone are mixed with random cover files, so they don't show how many vaults exist.

What if I forget which pattern opens which vault?

Each vault has its own 9 recovery words. They open that vault even if you forget its pattern.
